Debbie has lived with her husband Richard, daughter Jessica and their two dogs, Teddy and Honey in this charming cottage in Brandon for the last two and a half years.
Although they loved their previous windows, original wooden sash windows in green, they fancied a change and felt inspired by the windows Richard had spotted nearby. Richard was working on a house a few villages away when he admired a set of windows – he soon found out that they were installed by Amber.
After getting in touch with us, one of our salesmen, Joe, came out to their home in Brandon, Suffolk. Debbie commented on how patient Joe was with their decision-making, helping them to choose the perfect windows for their cottage and eagerly answering their questions. After agreeing on a price, the windows were quickly placed on order – a full set of UPVC windows, including two for their porch.
To replace their timber windows, the Freemans opted for off-white UPVC sash windows from us, still in-keeping with the authentic cottage style loved by the whole family, but enabling them to benefit from the incredibly modern and low-maintenance performance of UPVC.
Getting to choose from our wide range of hardware was extremely enjoyable for the couple. As soon as Debbie was shown our traditional monkeytail handles, she instantly knew they needed to be incorporated somewhere in the cottage, and they were eventually selected for the two porch windows.
After a few short weeks, Mr & Mrs Freeman were extremely excited to receive a call to say their windows were ready and straight away a date was fixed for their installation.
Full of praise for our team of installers, Debbie described them as friendly, tidy and professional. She even pointed out that they were working so hard on the front of their south-facing cottage that one installer got very sunburnt without realising! Even in a heatwave, we are dedicated to getting the job done, however Amber certainly encourages the use of sunscreen!
