REPLACEMENT TILED ROOF CONSERVATORY
Just a simple exchanging of roofing systems helped to remind these occupants why they fell for their conservatory in the first place.
The weather in this country can be a real nuisance if your conservatory has a traditional roofing system as it can easily invade the space and make it unusable. Knocking the building down and constructing a replacement is an extreme measure, and one you needn’t take when Amber can just replace the existing roof and put a solid tiled roof in its place. This was the course of action taken in this example, but not before we had inspected the extension thoroughly to check the current windows and doors could handle the weight of a replacement roof. New windows were subsequently fitted and have helped restore it back to a perfect dining and lounging area.
Quite compact to outside eyes, this conservatory is surprisingly roomy inside. As we know, light creates the illusion of space, and lots of it travels into the extension via the unobtrusive roof window and curved frontage. In the absence of natural light, the spotlights inside of the internal pelmet are available to brighten up the interior. At the same time as organising the new roof and windows, we also upgraded the existing guttering to ensure the extension is well-protected from potential water damage. The fire was put in too, to make winter times extra cosy.
