This stunning Victorian detached property in Poringland NR14, just outside Norwich, underwent a complete refurbishment ahead of sale. Amber Home Improvements were appointed to deliver a sympathetic yet striking exterior makeover—elevating both kerb appeal and energy performance.

uPVC Vertical Sliders for Period Precision
We replaced over 20 traditional sash windows with A+rated uPVC vertical sliders, finished in white woodgrain foil to replicate painted timber. Deep bottom rails and classic horns ensured full compliance with period styling.
Show-Stopping Front Gable
To modernise the entrance, we added a bespoke aluminium gable frame with a Spitfire front door in anthracite grey. This architectural feature gave the home a bold, contemporary twist—while still referencing its original form.
Flat-Roof Rear Extension
At the rear, we constructed a flat-roof extension with large roof lanterns, flooding the space with daylight. The new brickwork was expertly colour-matched for a seamless look.
