Contrasting locks are present in the Origin OW-70 Slimline and OW-80 Premium, both of which are PAS:24 2016 and Secured by Design. A Nemesis multi-point lock exists in the Origin OW-70, whilst the OW-80 has the ultra-secure Yale Encloser lock – each lock is uncompromising.
Bi-directional locking in the two systems sees the engagement of cylindrical cams into a zinc alloy keep. The compression created gives reliable weatherproofing, supplemented by aluminium’s strength, Ferritic stainless-steel hinges, lockable handles and when specified, laminated glass.
Unravelling the colour hues
Virtually no colour has been omitted from the palette for the Origin OW-70 Slimline and OW-80 Premium, extending way beyond just white, black and grey. Incredibly, Origin offers its windows in over 15O RAL colours and will happily provide dual-coloured solutions, with or without woodgrains.
Perfecting the finish on an Origin OW-70 Slimline and OW-80 Premium requires the aluminium material being coated with a high-grade powder. Its application is implemented via an electrostatic process, undertaken after a special pre-treatment, before being cured at 200°C to solidify the coating and ensure it has a smoothness. The Origin OW-70 Slimline and OW-80 Premium are scratch-resistant and not liable to fade.

The handles affixed to the Origin OW-70 Slimline and OW-80 Premium make opening and closing the windows a real pleasure and supplement their performance. They have a dedicated colour palette which can either harmonise with or go against the frame colour.
For a consistent look, choose to colour match the handles and frames in any of the 150+ RAL colours.
