Glass-to-Floor Conservatories

Transparent from floor to ceiling, glass rooms feature glass walls, glass doors and a glass roof.

The only truly visible part of the entire structure is the supporting frame, which now thanks to modern materials such as aluminium and UPVC, can be incredibly thin. As such, the unique design of full glass conservatories provides you with a panoramic, uninterrupted view of your garden all year round. Using the strongest, most durable modern materials for the frame, and the very latest, energy-efficient glazing and designs, a glass to floor conservatory will help reduce your energy bills and help direct warmth and sunlight into your home.

When it comes to choice, you will have complete control over how your glass room looks and how you use it. From fixed, sliding, and bi-folding doors that will allow you to instantly bring the outdoors inside, to manual and electric blind systems that provide you with complete environmental control at the touch of a button, we have an incredible selection of made-to-measure, affordable glass to floor conservatories.

Our strength lies in the standard of service we provide to conservatory buyers...

Design – You can have as much control over the final design as you like or let Amber interject with ideas. It helps if you take some rough measurements at the proposed site of the extension, and also a photograph to accompany them. Using these, we can take to our 3D software and start fashioning a design.

Survey – Your home will be visited by one of our surveyors who will come and take further measurements and also figure out where the windows and doors are best placed.

Planning Permission – The conservatory may require planning permission before work can get started. Amber will be able to speak to your local authority on your behalf and also organise any planning application.

Installation – Amber Home Improvements has various teams of experts and can take on the entire installation. We are capable of digging the foundations, constructing the base, building the dwarf wall, erecting the frames, roof and fitting the glass. We work to a strict schedule too.

Build Process – There is a less involved in installing a conservatory than most other variations of extension. You shouldn’t find the process the slightest bit stressful, and that will partly be because of the efficient manner in which Amber works.

Finishing – Applying the finishing touches to your conservatory is vitally important and a job for Amber. We can plaster the internal walls, put down your flooring and install electric sockets and lighting. After doing so, we will thoroughly clean up the inside of the extension, and also hand you a questionnaire so that you can rate our performance.
