SASH UPVC WINDOWS
Over 400 years from the design first being developed, sash windows remain a big favourite with window buyers.
What is the nation’s favourite window design? The sash window would definitely rank high in the list, especially if our sales of this classic window are anything to go by. In the minds of some, it is the most aesthetically-pleasing window design on the market, and the beauty of a sash window is that it can complement all property types.
People are also admirers of the functionality of a sash window and how neatly the movable panel can shift upwards when you want to create an opening. The only modification of the traditional sash window has been our use of UPVC, rather than timber.
These new UPVC sash windows contain Georgian bars, and the French doors have them too to give them the appearance of Georgian-style windows. Outdoor living is more easily in reach because of the French door installation, giving the owners all the excuse they need to have a few barbecues or take to their sun loungers.
Standard window sizes were used for all but one of the window apertures. You can see that there is an arched sash window and we have to demonstrate serious craftsmanship skills to create it. Aside from the sash windows, the house also has a new black composite door. It makes for a very commanding entranceway and shows how serious they take their home.
