TILED ROOF EXTENSION & BI-FOLD DOORS

If you head to the far end of the garden at this luxurious residence, you can very easily overlook the impact the small tiled roof extension has had on the house. Walk a little more closely towards it, and you quickly see that it has given the property an added dimension, and a vitally important one at that.
Accessible from the outdoors via the bi-folding doors, they unveil a gorgeously compact internal environment where you can rest up on the comfy looking couch. The pitched roofing system also gives the extension lots of depth, as does the light that travels through the roof windows.
The extension is often at its busiest at night, so it’s just as well that the occupiers decided to have downlighters integrated into the perimeter ceiling. This form of lighting was preferred as they didn’t want a lighting solution that would infringe on the space provided by the extension.
All of the bricks used to construct the extension were carefully chosen as they needed to match the current brickwork of the building to avoid the chances of the extension looking out of place. They play a big part in insulating the space and keep it feeling just right at all times of the year.
